Abstract:Axial piston pumps are an integral part of hydraulic systems due to their compactness, simple design and quick response to variable loading conditions when provided with a pressure compensator unit. The work comprises a simple method of designing the rate and stroking cylinders of the pressure compensator on the basis of dynamic swiveling torque on the swash plate at cut-in and cut-off conditions, respectively.
