Effect of fertilizer application on the ‘Bukhara-102’ variety of cotton yield in salt-affected cotton fields of Uzbekistan

Abstract: In this article, stratified feeding of Bukhara-102 variety of medium-fiber cotton with mineral fertilizers were carried out in the conditions of irrigated and fertile soils of Kashkadarya province. Simultaneously, compared to the studied fertilizer application options, there was a decrease in soil volume by 0.01–0.02 g/cm3, an increase in soil porosity by 0.4–1.2%, and an increase in soil water permeability to 5.8–24.6 m3/ha. Moreover, an additional yield of 1.3–2.6 quintals of cotton, the quality indicators o… Show more

“…In this study, placement of all field experiments, measurements, observation and calculation were done based on "Methods of conducting field experiments. Furthermore, analysis of the nutrient amount in soil and plants was performed using methodological manual, "Methods of agrochemical and agrophysical research in irrigated cotton areas" [5,6,[8][9][10][11]. Noteworthy, the obtained data on wheat productivity were analyzed mathematically and statistically using the method of dispersion analysis in the manual "Methodology of field experience" by B.A.…”

“…The results of the research show that the magnetization of water in magnetic devices of various designs, during irrigation, leads to an acceleration of seed germination, growth and development of crops, and an increase in yield is up to 26 percentage with a decrease in the specific consumption of irrigation water. The utilization of a magnetic equipment does not necessitate any upkeep, further education, or ongoing energy bills [10].…”
