Abstract:Three-body wear is the primary wear mechanism in friction pair between groove side and scraper. This study quantitatively investigates the effect of groove textures on three-body wear under different factor combinations through abrasive wear experiments. The results indicate that groove textures significantly reduce wear of samples. The wear reduction rate of sample reaches 41% under the optimal factor combination.
