“…Three other bands detected at 2927 (PUA), 2904 (PA30) and 2903 cm -1 (PA180) can be ascribed to the C-H stretching and appeared in PPFCD films because of plasma polymerization process [52]. The absorption band appeared at 2190 cm -1 (PA30) may be owing to the C-H stretching vibration of the CH 3 group and is related to the aging of the PPFCD films [53]. The aldehydic C=O stretching absorption for the monomer at 1663 cm -1 is replaced by the band at 1632 cm -1 , which indicates most likely the formation of the aromatic ketone structure in the plasma polymer thin film.…”

“…Bands seen in the range of 1230-1177 cm -1 in the spectrum of MF and PUA are assumed to be the contribution of C-C skeletal vibrations [34]. In the spectrum of MF, the bands realized at 1054 cm -1 , 961 cm -1 , and 754 cm -1 indicated C-H in plane bending, C-H rocking, and =C-H out-of-plane bending vibration, respectively [53]. It was further noticed that these bands were not detected in the un-aged PPFCD and aged PPFCD thin films.…”
