Abstract:Measurements of equilibrium water contents (EWCs) in samples obtained from hydrothermal treatment (HT) and HT coupled with mechanical compression (HT-MC) were undertaken across a range of relative humidities (RHs) to investigate the performance of EWC and its mechanism. The changes in the concentrations of carboxyl groups and mesopore volume were measured by an improved barium ion exchange and N 2 adsorption-desorption isotherms methods, respectively. The results showed that EWCs decreased with progressively s… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
