Effect of Euterpe oleracea Mart. (acai berry) Extract on Skin Flap Survival in Mice

Abstract: Skin flap necrosis remains a major complication of reconstructive surgery. Euterpe oleracea Mart., popularly known as "acai berry" contains hydroxybenzoic acid, antioxidant polyphenolics and anthocyanins.
