Effect of impact energy on wear behavior of high chromium white iron produced by liquid die forging

Abstract: Impact abrasive wear behavior of high chromium white iron (HCWI) produced by liquid die forging process were investigated. the wear tests were performed with the MLD-10 abrasive wear testing machine, using SiO2 abrasive and with four impact energies of 1.5 J, 2.5 J, 3.5 J and 4.5 J for 120 min.
