Effect of Laser Light Ellipticity on Hanle Electromagnetically Induced Absorption Amplitude and Line Width

Abstract: Using the 2 S 1/2 Fg = 2 −→ 2 P 3/2 Fe = 3 transition in 87 Rb, we analyzed the interaction between the arbitrarily polarized laser light and Zeeman sublevels in the Hanle configuration.
