Abstract:Selective laser melting technology has the advantages of high machining precision, complex forming structure, short processing time, and low cost. In this work, the effect of laser power on the microstructure and mechanical properties of AlSi10Mg alloy formed by SLM was studied. The density, microhardness, and elongation of SLMed AlSi10Mg alloy increased with the increase of laser power, while the tensile strength and yield strength increased first and then decreased.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
