Effect of Mn-substitution on impedance spectroscopy and magnetic properties of Al-doped ZnO nanoparticles

Abstract: In this study, the role of Mn-substitution on the structural, morphological, dielectric, and magnetic properties of Al-doped ZnO nanoparticles has been examined, using XRD, FE-SEM, µAutolab/FRA2 impedance spectroscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) techniques. Structural investigations revealed diffraction peaks consistent with JCPDS card No. 036-1451. Morphological evaluations of the synthesized nanoparticles indicated that the shape of the nanoparticles is a slightly hexagonal and generally spheric… Show more

“…The g-C3N4 XRD pattern contained two distinct peaks at 13.02° and 27.3°, which correspond to the (100) and (002) facets of the crystals and confirmed its nanosheet morphology (JCPDS # 00-087-1526) [50,51]. The principal peaks ((100), (002), and (101)) in the XRD patterns of the Ni/GZ and Mn/GZ composites showed a minor decrease in intensity, supporting the successful incorporation of Ni/Mn metal ions into ZnO and its heterostructure development with g-C3N4 (Figure 3b) [52,53]. The successful synthesis of Ni/GZ and…”

“…X-ray diffractograms were used to characterize the phase and purity of the synthesized samples, as exhibited in Figure 3a 002) facets of the crystals and confirmed its nanosheet morphology (JCPDS # 00-087-1526) [50,51]. The principal peaks ((100), (002), and (101)) in the XRD patterns of the Ni/GZ and Mn/GZ composites showed a minor decrease in intensity, supporting the successful incorporation of Ni/Mn metal ions into ZnO and its heterostructure development with g-C 3 N 4 (Figure 3b) [52,53]. The successful synthesis of Ni/GZ and Mn/GZ composites is supported by the existence of characteristic g-C 3 N 4 and ZnO diffraction peaks in the XRD patterns [17].…”
