“…CaF 2 a nd Na 2 O can significantly reduce the melting point of slag and promote phosphorus enrichment [4,11,40,41]. Wang [4] has analyzed the effect of CaF 2 on crystallization in CaO-SiO 2 -Fe t O-MgO-P 2 O 5 -CaF 2 slag.…”

“…Diao et al [14] and Xuan et al [15] showed that adding both Al 2 O 3 and Na 2 O to fluoride-free CaO-FeO-SiO 2 slag results in better dephosphorization than adding Al 2 O 3 or Na 2 O alone; with controlled w(Na 2 O) at 0.7 to 3.1% and w(Al 2 O 3 ) at 2.5 to 7.9%, a dephosphorization rate of over 90% can be achieved. More importantly, both Al 2 O 3 and Na 2 O can enhance the enrichment of phosphorus in steel slag, with Al 2 O 3 increasing P 2 O 5 content in the 2CaO•SiO 2 -3CaO•P 2 O 5 (C2S-C3P) phase [16,17], and Na 2 O forming the highphosphorus solid solution Na 2 Ca 4 (PO 4 ) 2 SiO 4 [18], thereby facilitating the recovery and utilization of phosphorus in steel slag. The above thoroughly demonstrates that materials rich in Al 2 O 3 and FeOt, with a small amount of Na 2 O, are ideal for preparing fluoride-free steelmaking fluxes.…”

“…Wang et al 18) reported that the addition of Na 2 O and B 2 O 3 could affect the morphology of the solid solution and the phosphorous partition. Bao et al 19,20) studied the effect of the addition of Na 2 O and CaF 2 on phosphorus enrichment in slag. Sun et al 21) investigated the influence of temperature on dephosphorization at lower basicity and lower temperature based on industrial experiments and IMCT, and found that increasing the enrichment degree of C 2 S-C 3 P in the dephosphorization slag was conducive to dephosphorization of hot metal.…”
