Effect of nanosized Co0.5Ni0.5Fe2O4 on the transport critical current density of Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 superconductor

Abstract: Abstract. The effects of nano-sized Co 0.5 Ni 0.5 Fe 2 O 4 addition on the superconducting and transport properties of Bi 1.6 Pb 0.4 Sr 2 Ca 2 Cu 3 O 10 (Bi-2223) in bulk form has been investigated. Bi-2223 superconductor was fabricated using coprecipitation method and 0.01 -0.05 wt% of Co 0.5 Ni 0.5 Fe 2 O 4 nanoparticles with average size of 20 nm were added into the samples.
