“…The increase in 1000 seed weight may be due to the increase in plant height, leaf area, nutrients uptake and photosynthesis which stored in seeds as result of nutrients availability. These results are in agreement with those of El-kady et al,(2010). The interactions between treatments significantly increased the weight of 1000 seed where the combination between 40 kg N fed -1 and biochar gave the highest 1000 seed weight value (54.35g).…”
