Effect of organic and bio fertilization and magnesium foliar application on soybean production

Abstract: GYPT has paid great attention to expanding the cultivation of oil crops such as soybean by developing plans and strategies, including the research plans, which were developed by the Agricultural Research Center. These plans aim to increase the areas cultivated with oil crops and simultaneously raise the productivity of the cultivated unit. To improve soybean production, a field experiment was carried out in a split-plot design for two successive years (2021 and 2022 ) where the six treatments of organic and bi… Show more

“…Enhanced photosynthetic pigments are crucial for maintaining plant growth and productivity under stress (Jamshidi and Javanmard, 2018). The superior performance of compost in enhancing photosynthetic pigments and leaf nutrient content aligns with its high nutrient availability and soil conditioning properties, which improve overall plant health and nutrient uptake(El-Sherpiny and Faiyad, 2023; Elsherpiny et al 2023). Potassium fulvate's role in enhancing photosynthetic pigments and nutrient content can be linked to its ability to improve nutrient solubility and uptake, thus supporting better plant metabolic functions.…”

“…Compost, derived from the aerobic decomposition of organic waste, is an excellent soil conditioner that supplies a balanced mix of macro-and micronutrients, enhances soil microbial activity, and improves soil structure. Chicken manure (ChM) is particularly high in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, making it a potent fertilizer that boosts plant growth and productivity (El-Sherpiny and Faiyad, 2023;Elsherpiny et al 2023).…”

“…As a versatile legume, soybeans contribute substantially to global protein and oil production, playing a crucial role in human and livestock nutrition. Understanding and enhancing soybean performance under saline conditions is thus not only imperative for global food security (Elsherpiny et al 2023). Considering these considerations, the overarching goal of this experiment is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between organic fertilization, proline amino acid application, and soybean cultivation in saline soils.…”

“…Following a circular economy might be an excellent choice via recycling agricultural products in soil (Diacono et al 2019). Many organics can be used to attain these aims such as manure (Cai et al 2019), compost (Elshony et al 2019;Hussein et al 2022; Elsherpiny 2023; Elsherpiny et al 2023;Nada et al 2023; Sarhan and Shehata 2023), biochar ____________________________ Egypt.
