Abstract: Amla (Indian gooseberry) is a traditional medicinal plant that contains phenolic and flavonoid compounds which can treat gastric ailments, diabetic, as an antioxidant and antimicrobial. This study investigated the effects of particle size on the yield, phenolic and flavonoid contents of amla extract. Fresh amla was oven-dried and ground into powder to obtain samples with different particle sizes.
