“…From the obtained values (table 2) and figure3(a), it was clearly observed that the density increases on increasing the concentration of La 2 O 3 into the glasses. The probable reason of increment in ρ might be due to highest standard density of La 2 O 3 (6.51 g cm −3 ) as compare to the standard density of other components such as BaCO 3 (4.29 g cm −3 ), TiO 2 (4.23 g cm −3 ), and SiO 2 (2.65 g cm −3 ) or might be the highest molar mass of La 2 O 3 (325.81 g mol −1 ) among others component presented in the synthesized glasses or due to enhancement in NBO atoms[30,42,50]. Hence, the doping of La 2 O 3 inside the glassy system enhanced the compactness of the glassy networks.…”
