“…Pb-induced inhibition of photosynthesis of plant seedlings was shown to be accompanied with stomatal closure and a lowered transpiration rate, especially at higher levels of Pb (Islam et al, 2008). According to Ahmad et al (2008) and Islam et al (2008), there is a strong relationship between Pb application and a decrease in plant photosynthesis, which is believed to be a result of stomatal closure.
