“…Considering the problem of drug residues and the increasing resistance of pathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli ( E. coli ) and Trueperella pyogenes ( T. pyogenes ), many alternatives for treating endometritis, such as herbs (plant extracts or prescriptions composed of various plants), probiotics, bacteriophages, essential oils, vaccines, pegbovigrastim, nanoparticles, biomaterials, ozone, etc. are being studied (Barca et al., 2022; Escandón et al., 2020; Galvão et al., 2020; Genís et al., 2018; Gurunathan et al., 2018; Huang et al., 2018; Machado et al., 2012; Paiano, de Sousa, et al., 2023; Pinedo et al., 2015).
