Effect of pH-decreasing fertilizer on infection of lettuce by Olpidium virulentus and occurrence of big-vein disease

Abstract: We conducted laboratory experiments to assess the disease control effects of pH-decreasing fertilizer as a new control material for lettuce big-vein disease. Results show that the occurrence of big-vein disease was suppressed in concomitance with the descent of soil pH by applying the fertilizer.
