Biostimulants are among the natural preparations that improve the general health, vitality, and growth of plants and protect them against infections. They can be successfully used in both agri- and horticultural crops. The main active substances used in such preparations are humic and fulvic acids, protein hydrolysates, compounds containing nitrogen, seaweed extracts, beneficial fungi, and bacteria. Biostimulant formulations may be single- or multi-component, but the synergic action of several different components has been observed. Many groups of biostimulants have been distinguished through their method of application (soil, foliar), the material from which they were produced (plant, animal), or the process by which they were created (hydrolysis, fermentation, extraction). Natural soil stimulants can induce the development of beneficial soil organisms that provide substrates for plant growth. The use of natural preparations that are not harmful to the environment is particularly important in connection with the progressive processes of soil degradation and atmospheric pollution. This review gives an overview of the importance and influence of different natural plant biostimulants on both the yield and quality of crops.

The present investigation was carried out during the year 2022 -2023 at Agriculture Research Station, Achalpur under Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, (M.S.), India to evaluate the effect of biostimulant on growth, yield and quality of banana crop. The experiment consisted of sixteen different drenching and spraying treatments were repeated two times in RBD. The result indicated that, among the various treatments, banana responded significantly to application of biostimulants (AMINOGROW ACTIVE and SiLife). The growth and yield parameters of banana were conspicuously higher with application of biostimulants (AMINOGROW ACTIVE and SiLife) as compared to control. The treatment T16 ( S3-3 liter/acre AMINOGROW ACTIVE drenching application at 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 th month + F3-500 ml/100 liter of SiLife as a spraying in 1, 2 and 3 rd month after planting) was recorded significantly highest number of fruits per bunch (151.00), fruit weight (165.20 g), length of fruit (20.90 cm), girth of fruits (12.50 cm), bunch weight (25.75 kg) and yield (114.41 t ha -1 ) which was at par with T12, T14 and T15. Hence treatment T12 (S2 -2 liter/acre AMINOGROW ACTIVE drenching application at 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 th month after planting + F3-500 ml/100 liter of SiLife as a spraying in 1, 2 and 3 rd month after planting) found best.

A factorial experiment was carried out by spraying the fig (Ficus carica L.) trees cv. Aswad Diyala at post-harvest in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, in one orchards of Diwaniyah city/ Iraq, with two liquid fertilizers: Azomin and Prosol at 3 levels (0, 3 and 6) g.l -1 and (0, 2 and 4) g.l -1 , respectively. The results showed that third level of both fertilizers gave The widest leaf area:{(5.53, 6.42) and ( 5.52 , 6.38)}m 2 .tree -1 , highest leaf content of chlorophyll {(131.63 ,55.211) , (132.63 , 130.93)}mg.100g -1 more N percent of leaf {(2.12 , 2.11) , (2.31, 2.34)}%, highest carbohydrates percent of leaf {(14.65 , 15.10) , (14.83, 15.02)}%, for compounds and seasons, respectively. As for the crop that took place in the 2015 and 2016 seasons gave the highest yield{(20.50, 21.66) (20.80, 21.30)}kg.tree -1 , most level of K in the fruit{(280.10, 272.70), (292.40, 288.50)}mg.100g -1 and highest content of anthocyanin{(512.10, 519.90), ( 482.90, 494.50)} mg.100g -1 . There was a significant interaction between the experimental factors, which reached a peak in the third level, in the leaf area in the 2014 and 2015 seasons (5.51 and 6.86) m 2 .tree -1 , and the anthocyanin in the 2015 and 2016 seasons in fruit (518.20 and 534.80) mg.100g -1 , respectively. It can be concluded that the post-harvest spraying of Aswad Diyala cv., with the, Azomin and Prosol at the levels of 6 and 4g.l -1 , respectively, gave the best results2
