“…Subsequently, they were cut into the tapes with the dimension of 25 mm × 175 mm for the measurement of adhesive properties including initial force, 180°peel strength, and shear resistance, and the detailed measurement steps were carried out according to reference. [21] 2.3.10. Thermal durability The tapes with the dimension of 25 mm × 175 mm obtained from 2.3.9 were pasted on the stainless steel plates, pressed go-around for three times by a 2-kg rubber roller, and then put into the oven at 180°C for 30 min.…”

“…It can be used for preparation of a liquid thermal stabilizer [219]. It is noteworthy, that dimerized rosin is usually produced separately and can be applied in acrylic adhesives [220,221] to improve their wetting, adhesion and thermal stability [220].…”

“…Canetta et al [20] proposed a new approach to incorporate hydrocarbon tackifying resin (Piccotac 1095-N) in waterborne acrylic PSAs by encapsulating it within individual particle via miniemulsion polymerization and found the maximum adhesion force and adhesion energy of the miniemulsion film containing 12 wt% Piccotac 1095-N were higher than that of the equivalent blended film. Chen et al [21] prepared the polyacrylate emulsions tackified by polymerized rosin via seeded semicontinuous emulsion polymerization and found that the gel fraction, cross-linking density, and sol average molecular weight intensely decreased as polymerized rosin amount increased due to the chain transfer and inhibition role of the abietic acid in polymerized rosin. Furthermore, the addition of polymerized rosin could obviously improve the shear resistance, 180 o peel adhesion, and ball tack, but had little effect on the water resistance of the latex films.…”
