Effect of Racial Discrimination Activated at Teacher–Student Interaction Context on Academic Self-Efficacy: A Latent Transition Analysis

Abstract: This study uses latent transitional analysis to examine the longitudinal association between racial discrimination and academic self-efficacy in teacher–student interactions. Two levels of teacher–student interactions are examined: low-risk, in which students perceive no probability of racial discrimination, and high-risk, in which students perceive probability of racial discrimination.
