Abstract:The article presents the properties of meadow-swamp soils in Tashkent region, where rice is grown. Changes in morphological characteristics and agrochemstry properties of these soils during rice cultivation are described. In the upper layers of these soils, the content of humus and nutrients is good and moderate, and it was observed that the content of nutrients decreased rapidly due to the beginning of sandy fractions from the bottom 50 cm.
