“…As the strain during the deformation is not attained to the critical strain for DRX but for twinning, the twinning is activated, which leads to the release of strain energy, resulted in the suppression of the DRX. Guo et al [13] suggested that twinning was the dominated deformation behaviour as AZ31 alloy sheet was hot rolled with a small thickness reduction. Zhu [15] found that there was not remarkable DRX during conventional rolling with a thickness reduction of 10e15% at a single pass for the AZ31 alloy sheet.…”

“…It was reported that the microstructure, texture and mechanical property of Mg alloy sheets also could be improved by increasing rolling speed [5]. Guo et al [13] suggested that for the LSR AZ31 Mg alloy sheets, twinning dominated the deformation at lower rolling speed, while the remarkable dynamic recrystallization (DRX) was extended at high rolling speed, so increasing rolling speed was beneficial to the refinement of the grains and improvement of the tensile ductility of the sheet. Ding et al [14] suggested that increasing rolling speed could decrease the texture intensity of the as-rolled AM50 alloy sheets.…”

“…Therefore, the AZ31 alloy sheet processed by Route B presents excellent integrated mechanical properties among the three rolling routes. Table 2 shows tensile properties of some rolling AZ31 alloy in literatures [ 14 , 20 , 21 , 22 , 23 , 24 , 25 , 26 , 27 , 28 ]. It can be found that the AZ31 alloy sheet processed by Route B also shows excellent integrated tensile properties compared with the reported rolling AZ31 alloys.…”
