Abstract:Photocatalytic water splitting is a convenient method to produce hydrogen as a renewable energy resource. GaZnNO solid solution with a controllable band gap of 2.3−2.8 eV is considered a promising photocatalyst, while the specific reaction mechanism is still not clear. In this research, the mechanism of photocatalytic water splitting by RuO 2 -modified GaZnNO solid solution was investigated. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy detection were used to verify the crystal form of the prepared photoc… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
