Abstract:In this paper, we analyze the performance of pure and doped Be ablators used for Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) pellets in terms of shock velocity, shock breakout temperature, preheat temperature and mass ablation rate through radiation hydrodynamic (RHD) simulations.
