Effect of Some Polyphenolic Compounds on Biochemical Parameters in Leukemic Patients

Abstract: ackground :Polyphenolic compounds are groups of naturally occurring compounds in different plants. They are promising product to protect, and prevent leukemia and many types of cancer by different mechanisms. Objectives: The present study designed to study the effect of polyphenolic compounds [Ellagic acid (EA), Tannic acid (TA) and Caffiec acid (CA)] on GOT,GPT activities and total protein TP concentration in all types of leukemia [acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), chronic … Show more

“…From the results of the absorption spectra, it was possible to obtain the transmittance spectra of the liquid laser dye solution used in the research. Figures (5) and (6) show the transmittance spectra of a dye liquid solution dissolved in acetone and ethanol solution respectively. We notice from Table (2) an increase in both (absorption coefficient and refractivity) with an increase in solvent polarity and the molar concentration of the used dye, and a decrease in the permeability value.…”

“…The reason may be due to the small size of the fertilizer particles and its content of major and minor fertilizer elements necessary for the growth and development of the plant (nitrogen and Potassium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, manganese and magnesium). The reason for effect of foliar spraying with nanofertilizer in increasing the number of branches (Table 1) is due to the physiological role of the elements present in this fertilizer in improving traits of vegetative growth (Tables 1-2), improving the nutritional status, and increasing the accumulation of carbohydrates in seedlings and the relationship of this to stimulating The growth of lateral branches, and this is based on what was indicated by [12][13][14][15][16] on citrus seedlings. The role of foliar spraying with nanofertilizer in increasing the number of leaves (Table 6) may be due to the vital role that traits each of the elements included in the fertilizer, that is, potassium has a role in many physiological processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, and the construction of chlorophyll.…”

“…In contrast, the control treatment B0 yielded the lowest mean chlorophyll content in the leaves (68.79 L). The utilization of biofertilizers is advantageous for both soil and plants, as they convert atmospheric nitrogen into phosphate and potassium, which are essential nutrients for plant development, and provide phosphate and potassium in a form that is readily assimilated by plants [25,26]. According to the findings presented in Table 7, the bi-interaction between rootstocks and vermicompost had a significant impact on the chlorophyll content of the leaves.…”
