Generally, the soil containing higher nitrogen increases grain protein ratios so that application of N fertilizer, especially in the soil with a low level of nitrogen, could increase grain protein content (Dar et al, 2016). Our results revealed that inoculation and nitrogen application supplied together or separately to chickpea increased grain protein content.…”
