“…The average mean concentration of Ca, P and Mg were 7.01, 3.11 and 1.95 (mg/dl) respectively where Ca, P and Mg concentration were below critical level based on the critical level quoted by Mc Dowell et al (1983). Satapathy et al (2016) also reported lower Ca (7.38±0.38 mg/dl) and P (3.62±0.10 mg/dl) than their respective critical levels at Kakatpur district of Odisha. However, Gupta et al (2016) reported that plasma level of Ca among different stages ranged from 9.55 mg/dl in early pregnant cows to 11.51mg/dl in anoestrous lactating cows in Mathura district.…”
