Effect of support on hydrogen generation over iron oxides in the chemical looping process

Abstract: High performance for Fe2O3/Ce0.8Gd0.2O1.9 stems from Ce0.8Gd0.2O1.9 to improve its reducibility temperatures < 750 °C. Formation of FexCe2−xO3 decreases the oxygen capacity of Fe2O3/Ce0.8Gd0.2O1.9, thus leading to a declined hydrogen yield.
