Abstract:The alkaline treatment synthesis of titania/titanate nanotubes (TNTs) requires highly concentrated alkaline solutions (≥ 10 mol/L), which pose environmental and productivity limitations. In contrast, a bottom-up synthesis method for peroxo-titanate nanotubes (PTNTs) has been developed.
