Effect of Systematic Holistic Nursing Combined with the MDT Teaching Method in the Nursing of Neonatal Jaundice and Its Impact on the Recovery of the Newborns’ Physiological Function

Abstract: The application effect of systematic holistic nursing combined with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) in the nursing of neonatal jaundice was explored. This study was a retrospective control study. 90 cases of neonatal jaundice admitted to our hospital (February 2020–February 2021) were equally split into group P treated with routine nursing and group Q treated with systematic holistic nursing combined with MDT. The application effect of the two nursing programs was compared and analyzed. Groups P and Q showed … Show more

“…The present study reported that the time of jaundice regression in the study group was signi cantly shorter than that in the control group. This result was congruent with the ndings of Wei et al (2017) and Dai et al (2021) (42,43), as they reported a considerably short duration of jaundice regression in the study group in the neonates who received comprehensive nursing intervention for neonatal hyperbilirubinemia.…”

“…It is proposed that, in the context of high‐quality public hospital development, public hospitals should take the lead, continue to deepen medical cooperation, shift the focus to specialized construction, optimize the treatment structure, and match the difficulty of treatment with resource consumption based on hospital development strategic goals. According to a retrospective control study conducted by Dai et al (2021), multidisciplinary teams (MDT) are a cost‐effective technique that improves clinical outcomes and quality of care while reducing the length of stays for neonates with jaundice. Through the implementation of precision medicine and nursing, the MDT model produces long‐term advantages for critically ill patients and promotes the growth of hospital specialties.…”
