Abstract: Tamoxifen (TMX), a selective estrogen receptor modulator, is commonly used in the treatment of hormoneresponsive cancers. However, the effects of TMX in anabolic tissues harboring estrogen receptors, such as skeletal muscle, are poorly understood.
