Effect of Temperature on Inorganic Carbon Acquisition ofChlamydomonas reinhardtii

Abstract: Carbon dioxide availability for microalgae in aquatic environments increases with decreasing water temperature, while photosynthetic activity generally decreases. Therefore, inorganic carbon acquisition by algal cells is greatly affected by temperature.
