Abstract:The results of experimental investigation of the effect of a nickel catalyst on the structural features of carbon films deposited by the arc sputtering of graphite are represented. It is shown that the interaction of the carbon film with the nickel film at a temperature of 1100°C results in the formation of graphitic nano structures.
