Abstract: The aim of this study was to find an alternative to chemical control by improving sorghum's natural defense system. The effect of two  biocontrols, Vacciplant and Calliet, on phenolic compound and leaf pigment levels was evaluated. Vacciplant was prepared at  concentrations of 0.675; 0.9; 1.125; 1.35 and 1.575 mg/mL, while Calliet was prepared at concentrations of 4 ; 8 ; 12 ; 16 and 20 mg/mL.  After preparation, the biocontrol solutions were sprayed onto sorghum leaves 60 days old.
