Abstract:Megalurothrips usitatus Bagnall, an important pest of bean plants, is primarily managed with synthetic insecticides. M. usitatus has developed considerable resistance to various insecticides in multiple cowpea‐growing areas in Hainan Province, China, posing challenges to its control in the field.
