“…Using blended combinations will provide better energy and reduce the weight and cost of materials. In many applications, weight is one of the crucial factor [12]. The use of natural fibers in composite structures will provide additional benefits like better durability, sustainability, skin compatibility, high specific properties, high moisture retention, lightweight ecofriendly easily affordable, and available.…”

“…To improve the bonding property of the interface between aluminum alloy and CFRP, surface pretreatment of aluminum alloy is needed, such as grinding, acid–base etching, sandblasting, micro arc oxidation, anodizing, and coupling agent pretreatments. [ 11 ] Coupling agent pretreatment is one of the common treatment methods. It can effectively improve the interfacial bonding between carbon fiber‐reinforced plastics and aluminum alloy through a condensation reaction between inorganic groups on one side of the molecular chain and aluminum alloy surface and chemical bonding or molecular chain entanglement between organic groups on the other side and epoxy resin.…”

“…Shirobokov et al 17 experimentally investigated the trimming of unidirectional thermosetting CFRP laminates by varying the fiber orientation according to the cutting line. Ho et al 18 investigated the effect of prepreg sheet size on punching. Moreover, Dimitrienko et al 19 and Wojtkowiak et al 20 performed punching simulations of woven CFRPs.…”
