Abstract:This paper studies the effect of adding Magnesium Oxide (MgO) and Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) nano particles to enhance the properties of hip joint bone cement. Related to previous work of enhanced bone cement properties by using MgO and TiO2, samples of composite bone cement using three different ratios (0.5%, 1% and 1.5%) w/w of MgO and TiO2 were prepared to calculate the best enhancement ratio.
