Abstract:In this work, the hot deformation behavior of Fe-8Mn-7Al-5Ni- xV( x = 0, 0.4, 0.8)-0.3C low-density steel has been investigated at 950, 1000, and 1050 °C, along with strain rates of 0.01, 0.05 and 0.1 s−1. The constitutive equation and processing maps are established, and the microstructure of unstable regions and the influence of V element on DRX are analyzed.
