Effect of Virus-free Plant and Subsoiling Reversion Soil for Reduction of Injury by Continuous Cropping of Sweet Potato

Abstract: To reduce the injury by continuous cropping of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.), the farmer's plant and virus-free plant were cultivated with the density of 70×25 cm (June 10, 2011) in continuous cropping soil (CCS) and subsoiling reversion soil (SRS). Fertilizer was applied at the rates of 55-63-156 kg ha -1 (N-P 2 O 5 -K 2 O) and 10 ton ha -1 of cattle manure in CCS, and it was applied the 50% increased cattle manure compost and nitrogen in DRS. Symptoms of viral infection were revealed in the farmer… Show more

“…The diverse treatments were significantly influenced by using critical difference at a 5% level of significance tuber yield in weight categories (0-25g, 25-50g, 50-75g, and >75g). Treatment 5 consistently exhibited the highest tuber weights across all categories, with Treatment 5 > Treatment 4 > Treatment 3 > Treatment 2 > Treatment 1 Bongkyon et al, [13]. Furthermore, treatment 5 recorded the highest tuber yield at 9.243q/ha, followed by Treatments 4, 3, 2, and 1 Jaipaul et al, [14] and Khurana et al, [15] (Table 4 and Fig.…”

“…국내에서도 SPFMV를 비롯한 바이러스 포장 감염률은 100%에 달하는 것으로 보고되었다 (Chung, 2008). 이에 따라 농가에서도 고구마 바이러스 무 병묘 재배에 대한 요구가 높아짐에 따라 무병묘의 생산과 급속증식 및 재배에 관한 연구들이 이루어지고 있으며 (Song et al, 2012;You and Lee, 2017), 일부 농업기술센터를 중심으로 무병묘 보급이 활발하게 이루어지고 있다.…”
