Abstract: Background: Radiation causes to damage on endothelial cells by increasing oxidative stress. Vitamin D is also a potent anti-oxidant that facilitates balanced mitochondrial activities, preventing oxidative stress-related protein oxidation, lipid peroxidation, and DNA damage.
