Abstract: Ship-shaped Floating Production Storage Offloading platforms (FPSO) are commonly used in the production of oil and gas in offshore deepwater regions. The vessel is held in place by mooring lines anchored to the seabed during operation, either in spread or turret mooring arrangement.
