Effect of White Matter Hyperintensity on Medial Temporal Lobe Atrophy in Alzheimer’s Disease

Abstract: Background: Medial temporal atrophy (MTA) is a recognized marker of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), and white matter hyperintensities (WMH) are frequently observed on MRI of AD.
