Abstract:Necrotizing pancreatitis (NP) is a severe form of acute pancreatitis associated with high morbidity and mortality. The management of infected necrotizing pancreatitis (INP) has evolved from open surgical necrectomy to minimally invasive techniques, such as percutaneous catheter drainage (PCD).
