“…It revealed that the absorption process of MB onto the CG900/KGP samples followed the pseudo‐second‐order kinetic model. Previous works about the adsorption kinetics of MB adsorption onto pure KGP particles showed the adsorption process of geopolymer mainly followed pseudo second‐order kinetics . Thus, the addition of CG microspheres was not obvious changed the adsorption mechanism of the final obtained porous CG/KGP composites.…”

“…Adsorption isotherm modes were useful in revealing the adsorption mechanisms of porous adsorbents, such as the Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherms. The 2 equations could be used to describe the interactions between the adsorbent and adsorbate, especially for porous geopolymer materials . Herein, based on the nature and type of the CG/KGP composites adsorption system, the Langmuir Equation and Freundlich model equation Equation were introduced and expressed as follows: c e q e = c e q max + 1 q normalmax k normalL ln q normale = ln k normalF + 1 n ln c normale …”

“…It can be noticed an increase of these main peak intensities with the increase of phosphoric acid concentration. The formation of aluminum phosphate(V) and silica-based minerals such as tridymite are common in phosphate geopolymers treated at 1000 °C [15,17,[25][26][27]. The formation of these two minerals is due to the crystallization of amorphous AlPO 4 -SiO 2 solid solution constituting the binding phase of the phosphoric acid-based geopolymer [27].…”
