Effectiveness and safety of primary percutaneous coronary interventions in elderly patients with acute coronary syndrome

Abstract: Primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI) is the gold standard of treating patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). The results of major clinical trials on ACS patients’ treatment are reflected in modern guidelines, where PPCI is of high evidence level and is superior to conservative therapy in long-term treatment results.
