This paper provides a comprehensive review and comparative analysis of cybersecurity challenges and strategies within the financial sectors of the United States of America (USA) and Nigeria. It aims to elucidate the complexities and variances in cybersecurity practices, focusing on the different approaches taken by these nations to safeguard their financial data against increasing cyber threats. Through a detailed examination of existing literature, including academic journals, industry reports, and cybersecurity incident databases, this study identifies the unique and common cybersecurity vulnerabilities, regulatory environments, and defense mechanisms employed by the financial sectors in both countries. The review reveals that the USA's financial sector benefits from advanced cybersecurity technologies and a strong regulatory framework, yet faces challenges related to sophisticated cyber-attacks and the management of insider threats. Conversely, Nigeria's financial sector grapples with issues such as limited cybersecurity awareness, technological constraints, and evolving regulatory frameworks. Despite these disparities, both countries share the necessity of enhancing their cybersecurity posture to combat the evolving nature of cyber threats effectively. Conclusively, the paper argues that addressing cybersecurity in the financial sector necessitates a comprehensive approach that includes not only technological solutions but also the strengthening of regulatory policies, enhancement of cybersecurity awareness, and fostering international collaboration. The comparative analysis underscores the importance of adopting best practices from each country's experience, aiming to bolster the resilience of financial institutions against cyber threats in an increasingly interconnected world. Con el avance tecnológico en los negocios fueron apareciendo los entornos informáticos para los cuales no se necesitaba una auditoria común ya que esta no tenía forma de tratar data no física o como medir si era correcto o no por lo cual se creo la auditoria informática que abarca todos los temas del entorno informático en la empresa. La presente revisión sistemática abarca el análisis de las dificultades que tiene la auditoria informática a nivel internacional, así como la importancia de la auditoria informática que tiene en la seguridad de datos. Con este contexto, es importante responder a las siguientes preguntas: ¿Cuáles son los problemas de la auditoria informática?, ¿Importancia de la auditoria informática? Por eso se hiso las búsquedas centradas en dificultades y con una base de 8 años para la presentación de los artículos que usamos. Posterior a la revisión sistemática, concluyo que los problemas que tenemos en la auditoria van desde riesgos personales como la confiabilidad del trabajo del auditor hasta como hacer para medir y controlar la seguridad y integridad de datos de los servicios en la nube, aunque existan problemas para la auditoria informática esta es necesaria y muy importante mas en la actualidad debido al uso continuo de herramientas de software para el teletrabajo, etc.

Information system security within XYZ University constitutes a vital component of its IT framework, exerting significant influence over security levels across all facets of the information systems. Among the numerous implemented information system services at the university, a considerable portion lacks active security measures within operational systems. In pursuit of achieving uniform governance, this study adopts the most recent COBIT 2019 framework. The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the degree to which current information system security management aligns with the process achievement values stipulated in the COBIT 2019 standard. This evaluation entails the calculation of maturity level values that gauge performance levels in managing information system security. Findings from the COBIT 2019 Design assessment conducted at XYZ University's LTIK reveal that individuals scoring above 80 or those requiring Capability Level 4 include APO12 and BAI10. Moreover, the calculation outcomes for each subdomain reveal the presence of 2 subdomains at Level 4, 4 subdomains at Level 3, 15 subdomains at Level 2, and 19 subdomains at Level 1. The identification outcomes underscore the existence of gaps within each domain. Particularly, the APO12 and BAI10 domains exhibit a gap spanning 2 levels.
