Abstract:This review article explores the use of extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) in treating grades 1-2 gonarthrosis (knee osteoarthritis). The authors conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing studies and compare ESWT with conventional treatment methods such as placebo, corticosteroids, hyaluronic acid, and pharmacological treatments.
