Abstract:The optimal achievement of orthodontic treatment is determined by a bone remodelling process involving osteoblast, osteoclasts, and the estrogen hormone. Estrogen deficiency can increase osteoclast age and decrease osteoblast, resulting in an imbalance between osteoclasts and osteoblasts.
